Where can diamonds be found naturally?
Also called mined diamonds, this stone is found deep beneath the Earth, formed by extremely high conditions of pressure and temperature. The process takes from 1 to 3 billion years to happen, and it’s not continuous. Even the slightest change in conditions required can interrupt the development of the diamond.
In short, diamonds are the result of the solidification of carbon dioxide. Due to its formation process, they are most likely to be found where there’s volcanic activity. The eruption brings them closer to the surface and through mining, it's possible to collect them.
We all know how valuable and in demand diamonds are. The reason for that is the fact that each diamond is extremely rare, not to mention finite. Their value tends to increase year by year, which makes diamond jewelry a true investment.
